Production Grab Bag.

The physical essentials to bring with you on set.

You know the Mary Poppins bag? The one that is filled with items unimaginable and surprising? That’s what my production bag tends to feel like. While some items are personal, and some are intended to be shared- it's valuable to bring more than less to be ready for anything.

Here are the top 20 essentials that you can find on set, in our production bag below.

What's in the bag?

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Leak proof coffee cup

  • Clipboard (with call sheet attached)

  • Folder of release forms (blanks on one side, signed copies on the other)

  • MacBook (or alt. laptop) and charger

  • Portable phone charger

  • Notebook

  • Sharpies, pens, pencils

  • Scissors

  • Mint gum

  • Mini sewing kit

  • Pads/Tampons/Liners

  • First aid kit

  • Tylenol/Paracetomol

  • Benadryl

  • EpiPen (if you have one- this could be handy to bring on set)

  • Tissues

  • Personal granola bars/snacks

  • Quarters and cash for metered parking

  • *If outdoors- bug spray, sun screen, sunglasses, hat/gloves, extra socks

Next step- print this out and use it as a checklist for your next shoot.

Preparedness is key! No matter your role on set- these items will come in handy for you and your fellow crew members. When in doubt- toss it in the bag and bring to set. If you have questions or suggestions, comment or message us.
